Bronzed and Beautiful!
Now that it's summer time, a full face of make up isn't my favorite thing to spend time on when honestly, it will just sweat it off as soon as I walk out the door. Although, I am a bronzer girl and always have been. I mean, who doesn't love that glowing tan look? Below are all of my favs at the moment both drugstore and high-end!
Soap & Glory: One Heck of A Blot

| Shades available: Fair Enough, Cool Sand, Happy Medium, and Caramel |
I've been searching and searching for a new foundation, typically I use Born This Way by Too Faced, but sometimes I just want to switch it up. Soap & Glory has come out with a foundation and I've been dying to try it. There have been so many mixed reviews on this product though so I was reluctant to try it. With that said, I'm so glad I did! I have a pretty oily t-zone making it hard for me to love certain foundations, and this product is formulated to help with that issue. This will probably become a staple in my collection, especially during the summer months. The only downside of this foundation is there is only 4 shades available. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product especially to my fellow oily ladies! You can find this product at Ulta for only $19!

Let's Get Baked!
It seems as though everyone is catching on to the trend of contouring and highlighting, but lately the new trend is "baking" or "cooking" your face. This term actually comes from the drag community, and they have been using it for years. This method is used when you apply translucent powder onto your face and let it sit for about five to seven minutes before brushing it away. This allows the makeup to have a flawless, creaseless look to it.
- Hydrate - I always hydrate my face before I do this process. I mainly put a bigger focus on hydrating my under eyes to make them look more awake.
- Concealer - Apply concealer to your under eye to the apples of your cheeks, and wherever else you want to apply.
- Translucent Powder - I use a damp beauty blender to apply my powder. I find that this trick collects more powder to apply to your face. When actually applying the powder I place it on my under eye, on my jaw line, and the center of my chin. I then allow it to sit for 5-7 minutes, and then brush it away with a fluffy brush. I tend to use an E.L.F. blush brush.
